The Bali community entered my life like an echo of destiny—at a moment when my soul needed to reinvent itself.
With an open heart and deep hope, I asked the universe for inspiration, clarity, and a true connection to my purpose.
After leaving Australia—the place where Amarla Handmade was born and raised—I found myself on a profound search, in the middle of an inner transformation.

In that search, Bali emerged as a stage of vibrant beauty and mysterious magic. Surrounded by its traditional crafts, I discovered a world of infinite possibilities still waiting to be explored.
I longed to work with Ata, an ancestral weave native to this region, but for a long time that connection felt out of reach. Until one day, the unexpected happened:
My path crossed with someone who had collaborated with Balinese artisan communities. In that instant, the universe handed me the key I had been searching for—a direct contact with this vibrant community. That’s how I found Anik.
From the very first visit, I knew I had discovered something truly special. The magic of Anik’s artistry and the genuine spirit of her community completely won me over.

What began as a business exchange quickly transformed into a deep bond of mutual support, admiration, and authentic collaboration.
That was the first stitch on the loom of artisans who today weave together this network of Balinese culture and tradition.
Together, we brought the Ata line and the crochet dresses to life within our exclusive Bali collection—pieces that now enrich the essence of Amarla Handmade.

Now, our dream reaches beyond Colombia’s borders: Amarla Handmade is a bridge that connects hearts and cultures—an unlimited journey where art and passion are the threads that unite us.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to this wonderful network of artisans—because truly, we are weaving a world that is closer, more human, and full of magic.
